We were upgraded from a double room (or superior room) to a suite without even asking. I can only guess that the hotel does this when they have better rooms available, which demonstrates a dedication to supreior service for their guests. We also asked for a restaurant recommendation on our third day, which we later wished we had requested our first day as the recommendation was very good and led us to discover other wonderful nearby restaurants as well.
